She made her acting debut in 2002 Nee Thodu Kavali a Telugu film where she acted as a wife at her age of 15 years easier. This film was a huge failure, but helped Charmat noted that the Indian film industry in the south. Her next film was Kadhal Azhavatillai with Silambarasan which was also a failure. During this time she was acted in Malayalam film director by Vinayan,name Kattuchembakam. This film also bombed at the box office. Then she worked in a few Tamil films but they bombed at the box office. The-re-entry to Telugu movies happened with the film, which was Sreekanth later she played in Sri Anjaneyam, directed by ace director Krishna Vamsi who is also a failed attempt
