Maria Shriver buys $10 million house in LA?
Barely two months after the shocking news of Terminator star Arnold Schwarzenegger’s infidelity, estranged wife Maria Shriver has moved on to buying a new $10 million home for herself in a posh area of Los Angeles
If the buzz is to be believed, then Shriver has purchased a house in Brentwood, after scouting for houses for more than 6 months.
After the news that Schwarzenegger fathered a love child out of wedlock 14 years ago, it was reported that Shriver officially filed for divorce from her husband on July 1. As per the divorce, both will have joint custody of the 2 minor children. The couple was married for 25 years and has 4 children together.
Shwarzenegger, who is a former Governor of California, is believed to have hid the news of his illegitimate child with a housekeeper for 14 years, and it was Maria’s suspicions which led him to confess it. The news was ‘heartbreaking’ for Maria who requested the press to give her space. In a statement, she said, "As a mother, my concern is for the children. I ask for compassion, respect and privacy as my children and I try to rebuild our lives and heal."
Shriver has hired top celebrity divorce lawyer Laura Wasser, whose previous clients include Britney Spears, Angelina Jolie among others. Despite Arnold’s requests for pardon, she has refused to take him back. Maria has also opened up an investigation into her estranged husband’s financial history and the likelihood of him fathering more than 1 love child.
