London has overtaken New York City as the Top Global Fashion Capital for 2011, Austin, Texas-based media analytics company GLM said in a statement on Wednesday, giving the credit to the Duchess of Cambridge, Catherine Middleton (Kate Middleton) and designer Alexander McQueen, who have had greater impacts in the fashion world and media following in the past one year.
